Ayurveda is Indian ancient treatment system but still now effective . Asian -Indian people has been using Ayurvedic ingredients from thousand years. With low side effect and high efficiency Ayurveda is still most popular home treatment system of the continent.  Let’s know some elements & tricks of Ayurvedic Skin Care and wellness.

Creams and Masks for Skin Care :
Grind almonds into a paste. Also, take some buttermilk. Mix these two ingredients in equal proportions to create a face pack. You can use this daily, but for the best results, leave it on the skin for at least an hour. It’s fine to leave it on overnight as well. This pack will keep your skin fresh and hydrated, and help prevent wrinkles. If you have dark spots on your skin, add aloe vera gel. For this, use all three ingredients in equal amounts. You can prepare a larger batch of the pack and store it in a glass jar in the refrigerator. To make a cream, take equal amounts of aloe vera gel, glycerin, and virgin coconut oil. Mix them well to make a cream, and store it in a glass jar. Use it as needed.
For another cream, take 2 tablespoons of rice flour, half a cup of milk, and 1 teaspoon of honey. You can also add a pinch of raw turmeric if desired. Mix the ingredients and cook until it thickens to a cream-like consistency. Remove from heat and let it cool, then add 1 teaspoon of glycerin. Store this mixture in a glass jar. Apply it to your face every night, leave it on for 10 minutes, and then wash it off. Your skin will become soft. It’s also fine to leave it on overnight. If the weather is a bit warm, you can keep the jar in the fridge.


Ayurveda for Wellness :
Start your day by drinking a glass of lukewarm water with 1 tablespoon of lemon juice and 1 teaspoon of honey. This habit will provide you with vitamin C, enhance your immune system, meet your hydration needs, relieve constipation, and aid in weight loss.
In Ayurveda, oil is a crucial ingredient used in various ways. For example, Kalonji (black seed) oil is used in Nasya therapy. You can learn how to apply this oil and perform the massage around the nose with your fingers, and use this technique at home. Nasya is beneficial for relieving sinus pain. You can also learn facial massage techniques to help with headaches. Additionally, you might want to learn the method of applying warm oil to the scalp.
Basti therapy can be useful for people with knee and lower back pain. Those who experience pain throughout the body can also benefit from Basti. For pain and discomfort, hot stone therapy can be employed. This service helps reduce internal inflammation.


Ayurveda for Hair Care :
Take 2 tablespoons of flax seeds, 1 tablespoon of fenugreek seeds, and 1 teaspoon of black seed (kalonji). You will also need amla (Indian gooseberry). If you have amla powder, use 1 tablespoon; if not, take four whole amla fruits and crush them. Combine these four ingredients with 4 cups of water. Boil the mixture until it reduces to about 2 cups. Once it cools down, strain it and store it in a glass jar. If the weather is warm, keep the jar in the refrigerator. Apply this mixture to your scalp and hair 20 minutes before washing. You can also use it while washing your hair. Add 2 tablespoons of the mixture to your shampoo as needed and use it to wash your hair. Your hair will become silky, shiny, and vibrant, and it will also help accelerate hair growth. This can be considered a natural alternative to re-bonding, as regular use will straighten the hair as well.

Common Ayurvedic Ingredients at Home:

Turmeric
Turmeric is rich in antioxidants and has anti-inflammatory properties. It is a very potent herb that brightens the skin, reduces inflammation, and helps detoxify it. Applying turmeric to the skin during hot weather can rejuvenate it.

Neem
Neem has antibacterial and antifungal properties. It is an excellent herb for detoxifying the skin. Neem deeply cleanses the skin, unclogs pores, and helps prevent acne. You can use neem oil or neem powder for detoxifying the skin.

Amla
Amla is rich in antioxidants and contains a significant amount of vitamin C. It helps detoxify the skin and aids in collagen production. Consuming amla daily during the hot season can be beneficial, and you can also apply amla oil to the skin.

Triphala
Triphala is a blend of amla, Terminalia bellirica known as baheda , and myrobalan. It helps cleanse the digestive system, which keeps the skin glowing. Triphala powder or capsules are available in the market and can be beneficial with regular use.

Coriander Leaves
Coriander leaves help eliminate toxins from the body and detoxify the skin. They have antioxidant properties. You can add coriander leaves to your food or mix them with water to drink. This can improve your skin.

Coconut Water
Coconut water keeps the body hydrated and helps eliminate toxins. It is rich in antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals, and nourishes the skin. Drinking coconut water regularly can detoxify the skin from within.

Sandalwood
Sandalwood helps reduce skin inflammation, keeps the skin clear, and brightens the complexion. During hot days, you can make a paste of sandalwood and rose water and apply it to your face to keep the skin fresh.
